Why choose a birthstone piece

A birthstone is personal from the moment they open the box. Layered onto one of our meaning-led pieces, like Phoenix Courage or Darling Heart, it becomes a piece that says two things at once: ‘this is what I want for you’, and ‘this is who you are’.

It's also one of the simplest ways to personalise a gift for someone whose style you don't know well.

The stones we use.

We use natural, semi-precious birthstones rather than synthetic or lab-created alternatives, chosen to match the traditional stone for each birth month. Each one is set by hand alongside the rest of the piece, not added as an afterthought.

Can I combine a birthstone with an initial?

Yes. Several of our best-selling pieces — including the Phoenix Courage Necklace and Darling Heart Necklace — can be personalised with an initial and a birthstone together, so you can layer meaning, identity, and a specific person into a single pendant.

Dispatch.

Every birthstone piece is handcrafted to order. Silver pieces typically take 2-3 weeks; 9ct gold pieces are handmade and hallmarked to order, so please allow 4-5 weeks. Worth bearing in mind if you're buying for a specific date.
